As Spacewell's Workplace Lead, you‘ll play a pivotal role within Spacewell's global team. Your responsibilities include leading the sales teams and overseeing the management, maintenance, and development of Spacewell’s customer portfolio, with a primary focus on cultivating long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and the profitability of the portfolio.

Embrace the role of ethical leader of the Direct/Indirect Sales teams, and both organize and optimize SDR Sales Development, Pre-Sales and Enablement, Professional Services, and Onboarding. Develop a strategic approach and implement it by collaborating with your team members on Spacewell Sales worldwide. Offer sharp advice, meaningful coaching, and challenge the status quo when needed to execute Spacewell's vision and strategy. In this capacity, you report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). What will you do?


  • You’ll build, manage and coach the Workplace Sales team and in a dotted line, you will be responsible for Pre-sales and Professional Services.
  • You set the bar: define annual sales and channel targets and develop and implement actions for the regions and sales teams accordingly. Off course, you’ll monitor progress of all targets closely.
  • Together with your international teams, you’ll develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales revenue, marketing targets, pre-sales targets, and billable professional services targets. On the way to achieving these targets, you’ll motivate and guide these teams to generate leads, build client and partner relationships, meet customer needs, and maintain high service levels.
  • You will also be responsible for your team concerning HR-related matters, including conducting performance and compensation reviews, in line with company guidelines.
  • You’ll be identifying opportunities and proactively proposing solutions to customers, yourself, too.
  • You’ll ensure documentation of internal processes for monitoring sales activities and forecasting is handled correctly and timely.
  • You will analyze the needs of Spacewell’s (future) customers and deliver appropriate solutions in tenders, negotiations, and deal closures.
  • Your measurable KPI’s will include: Net New MRR/SaaS, Growth Rate, Pipeline Build, ARR, TCV, Churn, SaaS/Services Ratio, Conversion Rate, Average Deal Size, Net Retention Rate, Sales Invoiced, Revenue, EBITDA

Customer Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with customers to achieve organic growth and company objectives.
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Expand your network within the assigned customer portfolio and serve as the primary point of contact for the region.
  • Support account managers in managing strategic customers.
Achieving Sales Revenue Targets
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales revenue targets and grow account portfolios.
  • Analyze prospect, market, customer, and financial data to optimize sales strategies.
  • Collaborate on marketing and sales campaigns, reporting on initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage sales reporting and dashboards to meet sales goals and budget plans.
  • Establish and maintain sales pipeline and forecast accuracy in accordance with internal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Business Acumen
  • Understand the customer's business, markets, products, industries, and technical developments.
  • Act as the customer's domain expert, analyzing their needs, proposing, and delivering solutions, and maintaining high service quality. Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth.
Team Lead Responsibility
  • Foster a network of potential candidates for future roles.
  • Contribute to team members' professional development and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
  • Assist in recruitment for team functions.
